LOS ANGELES — CAM4 is trumpeting Monday’s launch of “A Mouthful with Laura & Romi,” a new podcast written, produced and hosted by Laura Desirée and Romi Rain.
“This premiere season is full of raw, honest and at times difficult discussions about sex, the industry, and unapologetic pleasure seeking,” a rep explained. “Every episode takes a deep dive into a topic generally deemed too taboo to unpack, with a few surprises and special guests along the way.”
Each hourlong episode will debut Monday evenings accompanied by the social media hashtag #MouthfulMondays.
Rain enthused about her experience recording the first season
“Laura and I both spoke on things we never have before and I’m really excited to have a platform like this to get extra-raw and real,” she exclaimed. “It has been one of the most fun, yet important projects I’ve ever been a part of, and I gave myself fully to the experience. No topic is off-limits, from the ups-and-downs of our lives both in-and-out of adult entertainment to maintaining a personal life, as well as frank discussions about the money, the creeps, taking yourself seriously as a business, and why sex work is still the greatest thing we’ve ever been a part of, despite the occasional pitfalls."
She described their interviews as “candid, blunt and to-the-point” with “real advice based on our experiences.”
The program is “a behind-the-curtain look at what modern day life is for some of the beautiful, hard-working, interesting people in all facets of the thriving adult biz,” she concluded.
Desirée echoed her cohost’s enthusiasm.
“If there was a champagne room for the strip-club-circus that is ‘dirty talk,’ this is certainly it,” she said. “Romi and I hold nothing back as we explore our favorite intimate encounters, divulge the aftershock of embarrassing sex stories and investigate the impact that sex has in our lives and careers. A string of handpicked guests and specialists join in the conversation to share their wisdom and experience in the ever-evolving adult industry.”
“Romi and I have yet to find all the answers to the delicate balance between sex and business,” she continued, “and spend much of season one brainstorming our ideas and personal philosophies in leading an unapologetically pleasure-seeking life.”
“A Mouthful with Laura & Romi” will premiere on CAM4’s YouTube channel and most major podcast platforms.
