'Tour De Male Roadshow' Kicks Off, Adds Blush to Roster

LOS ANGELES — System JO, Boneyard and Magic Silk announced today that they are once again combining forces — this time with the addition of Blush Novelties — to launch a second leg of the all-male product-focused roadshow tour.

The latest leg of the Tour de Male kicks off in Los Angeles on February 24 and heads north covering Central California. Booking is open for micro-events and in-store product training during the last week of February through the beginning of March. Trainings will include information about products to provide associates and management with fresh and insightful talking points to engage in more lucrative and meaningful conversations with consumers.

The companies are also offering in-person training to prepare for seasonal traffic, while highlighting new products and “surprises around the corner.” Retailers will be provided with product samples and assisted with merchandising suggestions to increase their bottom line.

The partnership among the brands highlights cross-sale opportunities and add-on potential, the companies say.

"We are excited to launch the second leg of the tour in Central California,” said Rob Reimer from Boneyard. “The first leg of the tour last year was so incredibly well received by the stores, that it was a no-brainer to continue in new regions. It is great for the stores because it saves them valuable time and money by scheduling four training sessions in one shot, reducing labor costs without having to schedule multiple presentations. On top of that, they also receive the most current information about consumer trends within the male category.”

Reimer continued, “The ROI of in-store training is invaluable. Being able to train on new products in person and provide one-on-one sales coaching is the reason why our industry is growing so fast. Adding in the educational element that we provide for our clients, helps when speaking with customers to ensure a relationship that will help keep a business growing for years to come.”
