CATANIA, Italy — Lucas Kazan is tub-thumping “Dear Friend,” a new feature directed by and starring Ettore Tosi with American performers Dante Colle and Casey Everett.

"Fans of ‘Call Me by Your Name’ may recognize the piazza and the castle,” Tosi said. "With the two scenes filmed in Italy and the two in Nevada we wanted to juxtapose different, and yet similar, 'colors' of sexuality."
The plot follows best friends (Tosi, Marco) who write to each other about their sexcapades.
