LOS ANGELES — Performer, director and producer Lance Hart will join John Johnston and Melody Lauer of Citizens Defense Research (CDR) to host a self-defense class for adult performers and sex workers at the 2020 XBIZ Show.
Sponsored by Hart, Kink.com and photographer Brick Schmidt, “Street-Smart: Effective Self-Defense Techniques for Talent,” is set for Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Studio 3 at the Andaz Hotel. The two-hour training session will show performers how to effectively use pepper spray in self-defense situations, as well as the legal ramifications of its use.
POM Industries will donate OC spray for all attendees.
“Adult performers and sex workers that attended the CDR’s first class got a lot out of it and asked for more classes,” Hart explained. “I want to do everything I can to keep them safe and from being assaulted.”
