LOS ANGELES — Charlotte Stokely spreads Sapphic cheer in the parody “A Lesbian Christmas Story” for Sweetheart Video and director Ricky Greenwood.
The comic homage to John Waters features drag star and comedian Jackie Beat as the matriarch of a zany family who tries to squeeze money from her rich sister (Silvia Saige) when the clan is trapped together during a snowstorm.
The arrival of her mentally unstable sister-in-law (Joanna Angel) and her sister’s ex (Stokely) add more fuel to the explosive mix of personalities.
“Charlotte has a spectacular G/G scene with Silvia that will bring Christmas cheer to everyone looking for something Sapphic in their sock this year,” a rep exclaimed.
Stokely enthused about the wacky, subversive storyline.
“I’m a big fan of John Waters so I was super-excited to be a part of Ricky’s vision for ‘A Lesbian Christmas Story,’” she said. “It’s extra-twisted to mix John Waters and a holiday-themed adult offering and it’s a really fun and sexy movie. I know fans will love it and I definitely think John will approve.”
