LOS ANGELES — Whitney Wright is celebrating 18 personal and directorial XBIZ 2020 Awards nominations, including Female Performer of the Year.
Wright was also nominated for Best Actress — Taboo Themed Release and Best Sex Scene — Taboo-Themed for "The Gold Star: A Whitney Wright Story"; Best Sex Scene — Erotic-Themed for "What We Do for Money"; Best Sex Scene — Comedy for "A Cruel Bet"; Best Sex Scene — Taboo-Themed for "Future Darkly: The Aura Doll"; and Best Sex Scene — Virtual Reality for "Secret NYE VR Porn Party with You and Seven Porn Stars."
"I want to thank XBIZ for taking the time to watch, consider and nominate my movies this year — it’s an honor I don’t take lightly," said Wright. "I also want to thank everyone who supports the films we make that gets us XBIZ nominations in the first place. It’s because of you that we get to do this!"
Along with her personal nominations, "The Gold Star: A Whitney Wright Story," which she wrote, was nominated for Taboo-Themed Release of the Year. Three movies she directed — "Adelaide," "Endless" and "Obeying Instinct" — were nominated for a total of 10 awards between them.
"I also want to thank the companies MissaX and Adult Time that hired me on as a new director and gave me a chance," Wright continued. "I’m proud to see my films nominated here and proud to represent you!"
