LOS ANGELES — Reigning 2018-19 XBIZ Foreign Male Performer of the Year Award winner Steve Holmes was nominated for three 2020 XBIZ Awards, right after taking home the XBIZ Legacy Award at the RISE Dinner and Awards Gala last week.
Along with winning the Legacy Award, Holmes was nominated for Best Actor — Taboo-Themed Release and Best Sex Scene — Taboo-Themed Release for "Ministry of Evil" and Best Sex Scene — Gonzo for "Slut Puppies 14."
"I was totally taken by surprise," said Holmes of his Legacy Award win. "I had no idea they gave out any awards that night. I wasn’t even paying that close attention to what was being said on the stage because I was surrounded by beautiful women and the dinner was excellent. But I was very happy that my old friend Manuel Ferrara handed it to me, so that made it super-special."
"My friends ask me, especially my friends in Germany, 'What is a Legacy award?' and I say, 'I guess it’s for being old!'" he joked.
