LOS ANGELES — Gabbie Carter has received dual nominations for Best New Starlet and Best Sex Scene — Vignette for her work in "Relentless" (Deeper) with Riley Reid, Vicki Chase, Michael Vegas, Small Hands, Alex Jones and Oliver Davis, announced yesterday at the XBIZ Nominations Gala.
Carter made her industry debut this past spring. Her foray into adult began when she posted a single photo with her face obscured to Reddit that went viral, earning her a rank as one of the top posts of all time for NSFW subreddits. "She started selling panties, quickly creating a mini-empire," a rep said.
By the end of March she was signed with Matrix Models and had done her first professional shoot. Within a week, New Sensations had her booked for six scenes and contracts with Blacked and Tushy quickly followed.
Matrix owner, John Stevens, commented on her unprecedented rise within the industry. “I have been booking models for 22 years and I have never seen such a huge response to a brand-new model,” he said.
For her part, Carter enthused, “It’s very exciting to receive these nominations."
"It’s been a crazy year," she continued. "I never dreamed that any of this would happen when I put that photo online — it really boggles the mind. It’s been incredible and I’m so grateful about how things have played out. I can’t wait to see what the industry has in store for me!”
"Relentless" was also nominated for Vignette Release of the Year and "Drive" is up for Feature Movie of the Year.
