BURBANK, Calif. — Adult performers and other biz insiders have announced the latest installment of relaxed industry mixer PSK, at Crawford’s in Burbank.
The event is billed as "Pjorn Star Karaoke at Crawford’s," but industry vets might be forgiven if they think they are back at the “longest-running weekly event in the history of porn,” the 14-year-running tradition formerly known as Porn Star Karaoke at Sardo's.
Sardo's closed in the summer of 2017 and was replaced by chicken joint Crawford’s. After a two-year hiatus, said a rep, PSK “is back and ready for a new generation of misfits to show off their hidden talents!”
“By popular demand,” added the rep, “Crawford's started having karaoke nights there on a trial basis, which eventually led to the revival of PSK. September 2019 marked the start of PSK under Crawford's roof and it's currently happening every Tuesday night.”
PSK rebranded as Pjorn Star Karaoke, the rep explained, “but it's still the same great bar with lots of free parking, casual vibes, drink specials, and the same great karaoke crew, led by KJ Celiece. Regular attendees include Riley Nixon, Siouxsie Q, Sovereign Syre, Loni Legend, Jojo Kiss, Chris Cock, Rod Jackson, Stirling Cooper, among others.”
“PSK always was and is the place for us to unwind, feel ‘normal’ and network with peers. So come through. Let's make some noise! We dance a lot!”
Tomorrow’s PSK will include a celebration of performer Jojo Kiss' birthday.
