LOS ANGELES — TLC's ultra-dramatic reality show "90 Day Fiancé" throws fans for unexpected loop in its forthcoming season premiere with a featured guest appearance by Diamond Foxxx.
The show, which is set to premiere its seventh season on November 3, casts Foxxx in her ex-son-in-law Robert's story as he introduces his new wife Anny, who is from the Dominican Republic. Foxxx and her husband play active roles in their grandson's life and were eager to meet his new potential stepmom.
The situation heats up when Anny discovers Foxxx's adult persona and the two clash over Foxxx's involvement in the new couple's affairs.
“I am not acting on this show; this is the real me,” asserted Foxxx. “I care deeply about my grandson and I want the best for him. I needed to express that very clearly to this new woman who will be spending a lot of time with him.”
According to reps, Foxxx and her husband take on roles as "antagonists," particularly after pointed conversations regarding Anny's intentions with their grandson's father and her new stepson cause a rift between the couples.
After meeting on social media and talking "every day for six months," as per an E! Online report, Robert and Anny were engaged hours after meeting for the first time when Robert took a cruise with a stopover in the Dominican Republic. Now, after landing in the United States on a K-1 visa, Anny will have 90 days to either marry Robert or return home.
