MONTREAL — The spine-tingling debut episode of horror-erotica series “Under the Bed” debuts today on PureTaboo.com and Adult Time.
Starlets Emma Hix and Emily Willis topline “Within” as friends who rent a secluded cabin in the woods for some alone time when an unnerving stranger (Michael Vegas) who lives nearby makes his presence known.
"Each episode is a short film, with its own vision, style and codes; it goes from campy to eerily unsettling,” said Frank Stacy, the series’ executive producer. “It's a unique project that we hope will please the audience of Pure Taboo and Adult Time for Halloween."
Adult Time’s Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills announced “Under the Bed” earlier this summer and described the series as “modern horror television for adults that happens to have sex in it.”
Mills will write and direct an episode, joining a team of directors that includes Joanna Angel, indie genre filmmaker Eric Falardeau (2012's “Thanatomorphose”) and "Within" helmer Fred August, “a genre cinema enthusiast with a fashion background.”
