Performer Alex Collack Passes Away

CYBERSPACE — Former gay adult performer Alex Collack has reportedly passed from a heart attack.

Known for his friendly demeanor, flashing blue eyes and six-pack abs, Collack was a top star between 2003 and 2008 and filmed largely for Hot House Video, now part of the Falcon Studios Group. Steven Scarborough, retired director and the founder of Hot House, alerted the industry to the news.

Collack apparently passed in late September or early October, several weeks shy of his 46th birthday. “I feel inadequate in my ability to translate my profound sadness into words,” Scarborough said in a social media post. “(He) was a force of nature, a ball of effervescent energy who was a loving and loyal friend. His energy burned so brightly that getting together with him could be both exhilarating and exhausting. I say this in the most loving way.”

“I met (Alex) through our work at Hot House,” Scarborough continued. “He immediately became a member of our inner family. It was a pleasure working side-by-side with him at International Mr. Leather and Folsom Street Fairs over the years. He loved people and people loved him… Our world will now be a good bit dimmer, but your light will burn brightly within us forever.”

Collack’s friends inside the industry have mourned his passing, among them former Falcon Studios star Matthew Rush.

“If I could build a staircase to heaven and bring you back down, I would,” Rush wrote in a social media post. “I will never forget the times we shared. The laughter and the craziness. You were a beacon of light and I’m heartbroken you are no longer here.”
