NEW YORK CITY — Jessy Dubai recently spoke with ABC News Radio about the intersection of LGBT social issues with mainstream entertainment.
The trans star spoke about the Emmy-nominated FX network drama “Pose” and Taylor Swift’s advocacy for the LGBT community.
"When someone famous uses their platform in order to make a positive impact, I think that's something to praise them for," Dubai told ABC Radio. "So (Swift) knowing that she has this huge platform and she can do something about it — which is positive? It's something amazing.”

Dubai was recently in the Big Apple on a media tour to talk up her solo show, “Monologues of a Whore.”
