Brazzers Enters 'Time-Traveling Art Exhibit' in 'Backroom VHS'

NEW YORK CITY — Brazzers is at the center of an unusual immersive “time-traveling art exhibit” that allows attendees to explore a VHS-era video store featuring a quintet of studio stars.

Abella Danger, Phoenix Marie, Nicolette Shea, Luna Star and Jordi ‘El Nino’ Polla — billed as “Jordi” — are featured in the exhibit, titled “Backroom VHS,” and will make “in-store appearances,” said a Brazzers rep.

The exhibit is a collaboration with Matt Harkins and Viviana Olen of THNK1994 Museum, known for “experiential exhibits that look beyond the tabloid headlines in a celebration of iconic women, all the while facilitating thoughtful conversation around them and featuring female and LGBT artists,” notes a rep.

“Backroom VHS” will also feature artwork by Miriam Carothers.

“Enter a VHS wonderland where the lights get low, the manager is on your ass and the late fees are strictly enforced,” reads the promotional teaser. “Preview the latest releases, such as ‘The Fuckening’ and ‘Doctor! All Our Assholes are Possessed!’, sign up for a membership card, fall through the ‘Pay Phone Glory Hole Time Machine’ or just relax in the employee break room. Live out your everyday fantasies behind the beaded curtain. Hurry, it’s so filthy!”

An invitation-only opening reception is set for Saturday, September 28 at 310 Canal Street, New York. The exhibit hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Direct RSVPs to RSVP@thnk1994.com.
