CYBERSPACE — Jiz Lee is touting their 2019 XBIZ Europa Awards nomination as International Crossover Star.
The American queer adult performer has traveled to Europe for nearly a decade to shoot for “an international array of filmmakers,” including Cheryl Dunye, Petra Joy, Ms. Naughty, Vex Ashley and Goodyn Green.
In 2015, Lee received the PorYes European Feminist Porn Award for their influential contributions to the adult industry.
Lee enthused about the career recognition. “It’s exciting to have my indie porn performances in Europe recognized by an adult film industry leader like XBIZ,” they said. “I’ve been lucky to work with innovative artists from all over the world who create genre-pushing films with queer and trans performers. It fuels my passion and is why I do what I do!”
Recent appearances include the “Fight Club”-inspired “Fisting Club”; the film “Documenting Desire,” which chronicles in explicit detail the process of negotiating a queer threeway porn shoot; and “Volunteers Wanted,” which Lee describes as “a debut film capturing the ethos of the Berlin porn scene by director Ron Rex for xConfessions,” which will debut at the PornFilmFestival in Berlin in October.
