Joanna Angel Is Triple Threat in Pure Taboo's 'Maid of Honor'

LOS ANGELES — Joanna Angel returns to Pure Taboo as director, writer and star with a twisted webisode called “Maid of Honor,” co-starring Jane Wilde and Small Hands.

“This is a story about jealousy and vanity, and how it can get the best of people and lead them to act out of character,” said Angel. “It tears apart friendships, families and relationships.”

“Maid of Honor” tells the tale of an engaged couple (Angel, Small Hands) on the cusp of marriage. Growing up, Joanna’s diabolical stepsister (Wilde) was the competitive type. As the years passed, the girls grew apart because of Jane’s relentless contest-driven mindset and Joanna’s mild-mannered disposition.

A week before their wedding, Jane decides to re-enter her stepsister’s life by showing up to town, uninvited.

“The result is a competitive sex marathon where the two sisters battle and fuck the groom-to-be and decide who is the best, once and for all,” said a rep.

“This was an ambitious scene — lots of dialogue, anger, tears and chaos,” said Angel. “We captured an entire scene where I’m smashing chairs and glasses before the wedding,” which is reminiscent of the Guns N’ Roses video for “November Rain.”

“I used my actual wedding dress for this movie, which Jane rips to shreds,” revealed Angel.

“I’ve always appreciated the aesthetic of Pure Taboo,” added lensman Mike Quasar. “It really is different from anything that’s been done in adult before. Joanna worked so hard putting this concept together and it was so much fun for me to map out how to best capture it for her.”

Wilde also had the chance to stretch as an actress, with an intense performance as a manic, '90s-movie Lolita fatale.

“Jane did an incredible acting job, and the sex is phenomenal,” said Angel. “She does not cease to impress me in everything she does. And Small Hands — that guy’s all right too,” Angel joked about her leading man, who is her life partner and regular collaborator.

“I truly enjoy tapping into my dark side for Pure Taboo and can’t wait to do more," Angel concluded.

"Maid of Honor" is available now at PureTaboo.com.
