Hot Octopuss Returning to Sex Expo With Wearable Finger Vibe

NEW YORK — Hot Octopuss is returning to Sex Expo New York this year to showcase its new wearable finger vibe DiGiT along with other pleasure products.

Presented by premier cam network Chaturbate, the two-day event is set for the weekend of Sept. 21-22 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. Sex Expo New York 2019 will feature contests and giveaways along with showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers and sex-ed workshops hosted by a variety of educators and sexual wellness experts.

“Hot Octopuss is elated to be exhibiting at Sex Expo New York for the second year in a row,” said April Lampert, global head of sales for Hot Octopuss. “The turnout last year was incredible, and we can’t wait to share all we’ve been up to since last year’s event.”

Lampert added, “We love the vibrancy and energy of Brooklyn and had so much fun with the thousands of attendees last year. We’re highly anticipating much of the same this year and can’t wait to feel the pulse of Brooklyn at Sex Expo this September.”

DiGiT, which wraps around the user’s finger, has been described by Hot Octopuss COO Julia Margo as a device that “looks more like a custom piece of jewelry than a sex toy.”

Lampert said, “We want to help New York show bad sex the finger with our newest product: the gorgeously innovative DiGiT finger vibe. We think Expo goers will love the incredible power and cutting-edge design of DiGiT.”

The Hot Octupuss sales exec added, “At Hot Octopuss, we believe pleasure is a fundamental right for everyone. Since 2013, we’ve taken sex toys back to the drawing board to develop them using real people, some serious science and ingenious designs. We create unique toys that celebrate every body. So, whether you’re cis, trans, non-binary, have limited mobility or are older, you’ll find a Hot Octopuss sex toy that’s perfect for you. We are so happy to bring our mission to Brooklyn and demonstrate to Sex Expo attendees how we continue to break down stigma and change the way people perceive and experience sex toys.”

In addition to her work at Hot Octopuss, Lampert co-hosts the podcast “Shameless Sex” with fellow sexpert Amy Baldwin. “Shameless Sex” will also have a booth at Sex Expo New York.

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Greenpoint and is a short walk from the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
