HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — ArchAngel's MimeFreak is celebrating an Urban X Awards nomination as Director of the Year.
MimeFreak is the general manager and in-house director of ArchAngel. His titles this year have included “True Black Romance,” “The Booty Movie, Vol. 7,” “True MILF 4” and “The Black ArchAngels,” described by a rep as “an epic featuring top African-American performers,” and noting that MimeFreak’s versatility nabbed him this latest career honor.
"I was little taken aback by the news of the nomination," he said. "I believe in the work I have produced and I'm very proud of it but it's always a little surprising when you find you have been nominated. I'm very thankful, very grateful for the recognition. The Urban X Award is an important part of our industry and I am thrilled with the Director of the Year nomination."
