HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — U.S.-based Japanese adult star, Penthouse Pet, and YouTuber Marica Hase has released newly designed t-shirts through Japanese company Marrion Apparel, to help raise money for cancer treatment research center City of Hope.
Over the last few months, Hase has been recovering and documenting her own cancer journey on her YouTube Channel.
While the popular performer was recovering from her double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, cult Japanese fashion company Marrion Apparel approached her about designing t-shirts with a cancer theme to benefit research.
“The mother of Marrion Apparel’s owner also fought cancer, and that’s what made them approach Marica to design limited-edition #fuckcancer tees,” said a rep.
Hase is now selling the tees featuring drawings of herself and her sidekick doll Buusan on a pink cancer ribbon. The shirts come in grey, white and black and are unisex in sizes medium, large, XL, and XXL.
Marica Hase’s American fans can buy the t-shirts through her online store. and can use the coupon code FUCKCANCER through August 15 to save $5 and also get a free signed 8x10. Once you purchase the shirt, email Marica the size shirt you want. For every shirt sold, $5 will be donated to the City of Hope.
“I have always wanted to design clothing, and now my dream has come true with these t-shirts,” says Marica Hase. “It’s for a great cause, too. If these sell really well, I will be designing more clothing for Marrion Apparel, including jackets. They are manufacturing the shirts in Japan and shipping them here, so that’s why they’re $45 each, plus $5 goes to the City of Hope."
Overseas fans can order the #fuckcancer tees directly from Marrion Apparel after August 1. Marrion Apparel will also have a special upcoming website featuring Marica and Buusan.
