LOS ANGELES — The Urban X Awards has rolled out the rest of this year’s batch of nominees, expanded the number of categories and set a promo party for later this month.
Organizers have added Best BBW and Best Trans Release categories to this year’s roster of nominees. Online voting will determine the winners; click here to view all of the nominees and to cast a ballot.
The awards ceremony will return to the Globe Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, August 18. Jasun Luv will join Nina Elle, Gia Milana and Rob Piper onstage as host; Luv is the reigning XBIZ winner for Best Male Newcomer.
“We are very excited about all of our nominees this year. These movies and companies are all very deserving of their nominations and they are examples of our motto of diversity, creativity and unity. Please come join us at the awards in August,” said Gianna Taylor, the show founder.
The roster of sponsors now includes Avenude, Axel Braun Productions, Bad Dragon, Blacked.com, Galaxy Publicity, Gotdayummm Design Studio, Little Dragon Enterprises, Miles Long Productions, SuperHotFilms.com, TheMall.sexy, VR Novels and Wicked Pictures.
A promo VIP party is set for July 28 at Spearmint Rhino Torrance. Doors open at 9 p.m. and there is no cover charge for talent if they are on the guest list for organizers Taylor or James Bartholet. Direct questions or concerns here.
