Pineapple Support to Discuss Mental Health at TES Prague

PRAGUE — Pineapple Support will host a seminar on helping adult companies deal with mental health issues in the workplace at The European Summit in Prague.

The “Building Stronger Companies Through Mental Health” seminar will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11-11:50 a.m. and led by Pineapple Support’s Leya Tanit, who will highlight ways companies can strengthen the industry and their businesses by supporting mental health.

“Our industry is more decentralized than ever before, leaving many performers feeling isolated when dealing with stigma, shame and stress,” Tanit said. “In this seminar, we’ll talk about how mental health crisis affects not only performers but the companies they work for — because happier, supported performers are better, more effective performers.”

The seminar will cover common issues faced by performers, the free services Pineapple Support provides to the industry, and how a more direct partnership between Pineapple Support and individual companies can help create an environment where models thrive.

Pineapple Support will also team up with Silverstein Legal to offer a private space at the show for all TES Prague attendees where Tanit and industry attorney Corey Silverstein will offer free consultations throughout the show to address legal and counseling needs. The private suite will be open for walk-ins as well as scheduled appointments, by emailing corey@silversteinlegal.com or leya@pineapplesupport.com to schedule a meeting.
