LOS ANGELES — Aubrey Kate and Angela White topline “Trans Glam” for Evil Angel, the first trans title from director Jonni Darkko.
The glamcore title pairs A-list trans models with top cis female performers. The remaining matchups include Chanel Santini with Joanna Angel; Lena Kelly with Katrina Jade; and Natalie Mars opposite Adriana Chechik.
The movie debuts today on DVD and VOD; all of the sexplay will be available online by June 24. A trailer offers a taste of “decadent, gender-bent passion through the lens of Darkko’s gorgeous cinematography,” a rep said.
Chris Gentile, chief creative officer for Evil Angel, praised the energy and chemistry captured by Darkko’s camera. “Jonni is one of the most successful Evil Angel directors, and trans porn is really on the rise at Evil Angel, as it is everywhere,” he said. “So earlier this year I reached out to Jonni and asked if he had any interest in shooting a trans movie. He was immediately warm to the idea. We put together a phenomenal cast of cis girls and trans girls, and everybody killed it! The performers were genuinely attracted to each other — I can’t cite a single highlight or a best scene because under Jonni’s direction all the scenes stand out. He called after production, really excited about what he got, and he’s already planning his next trans release for later this year.”
Darkko praised his cast, “camera ace” Sal Genoa for his expertise and fellow Evil filmmaker Aiden Starr for her advice and counsel. “It was fun producing this movie, and something out of my wheelhouse,” he said. “A big thank you to the stars — it couldn’t have happened without their amazing abilities and performances.”
