FunkIt Toys Fundraises for Sex Workers With NoFrillDo Promo

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Novelty manufacturer FunkIt Toys has partnered with Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Behind Bars in an effort to fund the attendance of previously incarcerated sex workers at the upcoming Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit.

Through June 10, customers can purchase a red NoFrillDo with proceeds and pay-what-you-can donations going towards a scholarship fund for prospective attendees.

Taking place Aug. 15-18 in Alexandria, Virginia, Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit was created to examine “the intersection of sexual and human rights.” As its partner organization, SWOP USA will be hosting a day-long sex worker summit on Thursday, Aug. 15 with a number of workshops dedicated to equipping grassroots sex worker activists with information on policy and organization. As per SWOP’s website, the remainder of the summit will also include various sex worker-focused workshops, socials and other events.

The pleasure products company tweeted to announce that as of today, FunkIt has raised a total of $326 for SWOP Behind Bars and hopes to reach $500 by the end of the week.

The red NoFrillDo is available in three shapes, ranging slightly in insertable length, girth, texture and curvature. All of FunkIt's toys feature "modular" connection capabilities, allowing them to be combined with one another for expanded play options.
