Brenna Sparks Gets Double Exposure in the May Issue of XBIZ World

LAS VEGAS — Adult performer Brenna Sparks is celebrating her recent apperance in two articles in the May 2019 issue of XBIZ World.

The first article featuring Sparks is “Crazy Rich Stereotyping: Evolving Beyond Asian Stereotypes in Porn,” by Streamate’s Vanessa Eve. The performer, according to a rep, “discussed the double edge sword of benefiting from being Asian and also thwarted for the same reason, and how she operates in the industry based on this."

The article also showcases Marica Hase, Cindy Starfall, Rina Ellis and others. It starts on page 8 and continues on page 92.

The second article is the XBIZ World cover story, “Indie Revolution: Meet the New Commanders in Chief.” The piece features interviews with many performers and business owners. Written by XBIZ News Editor Gustavo Turner, the extensive survey article covers how performers and others in adult are taking their careers into their own hands by making their own self-produced content, running their own businesses and marketing and even self-representing.

Sparks talked to Turner about her successful career making clips and selling them through her clip shop, and commented that at this point she “doesn’t know many performers who aren’t doing their own content.”

"Indie Revolution" starts on page 22 and goes through page 24, and picks up again on Page 88.

“Thank you so much, Streamate and XBIZ for including me in your articles — it’s great to be a professional and be able to freely express your opinion, and be praised for it,” said Sparks. “I hope other people in the industry will be able to use these pieces as a learning experience, and for confirming they’re on the right track careerwise."

??Both articles are available in print and digital format  and feature photos of Sparks.

Outside a warehouse on a scorching, treeless frontage road in Compton, there is little to suggest that a movie is being made behind its nondescript walls. Similar buildings across the Southwest frequently house adult productions, their unassuming exteriors concealing carefully lit sets where crews labor over every visual detail.
