MONTREAL — Gamma Films/Adult Time is celebrating the company’s eight nominations in six categories for the 2019 X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) Awards, for their brands Girlsway and Pure Taboo.
Gamma Films’ Head of Production Bree Mills earned a Best Director (Features) award nomination, as well as a Best Director (Parody) nod alongside Gamma exclusive director Craven Moorehead.
"It’s always nice to receive award nominations - and it’s especially nice when they are from industry critics who watch our work every day for a living," said Mills. “We put our hearts and a lot of hours into making these films, so it’s extra-special when our team’s efforts are recognized by industry organizations such as XRCO.”
The network’s lesbian erotica studio Girlsway picked up an award for Best Comedy for its series “Lady Boss,” while Girlsway director Stills by Alan was also honored with a nomination for Best Director (Parody).
Pure Taboo received four XRCO nominations: Best Actress for Eliza Jane and Best Parody for “Anne: A Taboo Parody,” and All in the Family Theme for “Fuck Me First Daddy” and “A Trailer Park Taboo.”
Winners will be announced at the 2019 XRCO Awards Show, set to take place in Los Angeles at a date and venue to be announced
