Sin in the City Announces New 'Advocacy Track' for 2020

LAS VEGAS — The annual Sin in the City conference has announced a new Advocacy Track for its upcoming 2020 event.

The Vegas-based kink event seeks to educate and empower attendees through a variety of workshops, networking opportunities and play parties in order to build a community “rich in cruising, consent, and raunchy desire.”

Since its beginning, Sin in the City has championed the spread of historically leather values such as political activism, honor, education, respect and integrity in the framework of a diverse and inclusive event. The new Advocacy Track will expand upon those values in an ongoing effort to combat sexual repression.

“In a social and political environment that feels like we're ‘backsliding’ with regard to free sexual expression, we feel this programmatic development is of critical value to our attendees,” commented a rep.

The 2020 event will include a number of new workshops and educational offerings covering topics ranging from the politics of sex to sexual health advocacy, community activation and more. A schedule of specific events and workshops within the Advocacy Track is set to be released in the coming months.

“Our Advocacy Track is an environment intended to empower our attendees with sexual health knowledge and education free of judgment and stigma,” said a rep. “Sin in the City looks forward to the greater levels of diversity and support this effort can provide our community.”
