Marica Hase Monetizes YouTube Channel to Help With Medical Bills

HOLLYWOOD — Marica Hase, the popular Japanese adult star and Penthouse Pet who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, has received official monetized status from YouTube for her channel chronicling her journey.

Hase has been documenting her cancer journey on her YouTube channel, making multiple weekly updates.

The newly-monetized Marica Hase Official YouTube Channel is ad-supported for non-paying users and is available ad-free on YouTube Premium. By watching Hase’s channel, either with ads or via YouTube Premium, visitors can help with her medical bills.

“I’m so excited that YouTube has made my channel official,” said Hase. “I will reach more people around the world and help other people who also have cancer. Plus, the viewers can learn more about the industry and my life, and see how adult stars really live. I really feel like an international star now, and hopefully this will make me a worldwide phenomenon.”

Hase’s channel allows fans to keep up with her progress healing from cancer and also chronicles previous trips to trade shows, awards shows, theme parks, Japan, among other adventures. Her fanciful sidekick Buusan is in many of her videos and provides colorful commentaries, together with Hase’s companion, male talent Chris Cock.

“Marica does her videos in English and Japanese so all her fans can keep up with her adventures,” said a rep.

Hase is currently on performing hiatus, but plans to be available in a few months for booking via Mark Spiegler, or for feature dancing through A-List and Centerfolds Strips.
