Puma Swede to Participate in Nude Art LA Events This Weekend

LOS ANGELES — Puma Swede will take part in Nude Art LA’s Spring 2019 Art and Fashion Show this weekend.

Paintings and sketches, photography, fashion, belly dancing, body paint, sculpture, yoga, burlesque and nude performances are among the offerings.

The performer, who bills herself as “Sweden’s most famous adult export,” hosted her own art show, titled “Primal,” in Stockholm last year. She has been traveling across the globe in recent months shooting nude portraits for an upcoming project. “I don’t believe in doing one form of art,” she said. “I do whatever I feel like as long as it’s sexy and comes from within me.”

She considers her nudes to be a form of activism. “The human body has been featured in some of the greatest works of art over the centuries. It's only recently that nudity has become risqué in society,” she said. “I was just deleted on Instagram for pictures that I consider art. I will continue to [produce] artistic works that are tasteful and provocative.  If you are close to downtown Los Angeles this weekend, come check out the show!”

Nude Art LA’s Spring 2019 Art and Fashion Show unspools tomorrow and Saturday. Find the event online and on Twitter.
