Pornhub Insights Reveal What Women Want

CYBERSPACE — International Women’s Day has seen a slew of companies seeking to in some way, shape or form promote the one day a year dedicated to women. Pornhub has similarly jumped on the bandwagon and to mark this special occasion, their Insights team took a look at what women around the world are watching to get off.

In the company’s 2018 Year in Review, it was established that the most popular category of videos viewed by women globally was "Lesbian." However, stats also suggested that the favorite for Russian women was "Hentai," that the majority of African women were searching for "Ebony" vids, and that "Anal" was popular in North Africa and the Middle East.

The Insights team was also able to see how women in various countries stacked up and compared to their international counterparts.

The company's statistics offer some curious insights about what women are looking for in their porn. For example, women in the U.S. are 102 percent more likely to view "Ebony" videos and checked out "Interracial" vids 69 percent more of the time than others. Japanese women sought out "Pissing" videos 123 percent more than the global average with Australian women curious what’s "Popular with Women" 55 percent more than others.

As one might expect, women were searching for videos from their home countries marginally more than anything else. Women in Germany for example searched the "German" category 1222 percent more than anyone else, with Indian women searching the "Indian" category a whopping 1787 percent more than others.

Keeping in tune with the global trend, "Lesbian" is the most viewed category for American women in general, with the exception being women in the Southern states preferring "Ebony" videos as their No. 1 and a select number of states where "Threesome" took the top spot.

Taking a closer look within the U.S. reveals greater nuance when comparing the top relative search terms to the national averages. Interestingly, “My Little Pony” was the top relative search term for women in Idaho, with “Big Black Dick,” winning out in the Southern states, “Anime” and “Cartoon” being popular in the Midwest, “Surprise Anal,” being the favorite of Montana women and “Bedgasm,” winning out for Nebraska ladies.

Pornhub also had a look at how female porn viewership differs among women across age groups. It appeared that women over 65 were searching for "Handjob" videos 143 percent more than women of other age groups and that younger women aged 18-24 searched for "Hentai" 81 percent more than others.

What these stats have to say about actual desire or blanket trends is up for debate — but it sure is interesting to know that women in the Ukraine are searching for fisting videos 277 percent more than anyone else.
