MONTREAL — Gamma Entertainment’s newly launched Adult Time platform will mark International Women’s Day tomorrow with a focus on female filmmakers and performers.
Adult Time will highlight “the exceptional work and power” of women in the industry with the hashtag #BalanceForBetter, “a call for a gender-balanced world,” a rep said.
Gamma’s Head of Production and XBIZ Award-winning director Bree Mills, “strives to showcase women’s unique contributions, personal stories and sexuality in all of her work.”
Mills, who also writes and directs for Gamma, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities that Adult Time has opened up.
“I am so excited about the Adult Time series that are currently being developed in collaboration with some of the most intelligent, artistic and fearless women in our business,” she said. “We are proud to be investing in creating premium series that represent a wide spectrum of beautiful performers — men and women of all sizes, shapes and backgrounds. This is what adult content should be about in 2019!”
The release schedule for March includes “The Porn Advocate,” debuting tomorrow on Girlsway, “an engaging and stimulating look at sexual politics in 2019,” the rep said; updates to We Like Girls, “which focuses on sexual chemistry between women in its rawest form”; and plus-sized erotica imprint Shape of Beauty, which will begin featuring recurring episodes on March 27.
Additionally, performer and producer Casey Calvert will join the Gamma Films stable as a director. And performer-entrepreneur Joanna Angel is steering Lady Gonzo, featuring hardcore sex scenes from her POV.
The monthly imprint Age & Beauty “highlights the experience of older women and the beauty of women at every stage in life,” the rep said, while Transfixed “removes society’s gender-based stigma in sexuality, setting a new standard in modern adult entertainment.”
Members who subscribe to Adult Time will gain access to all series and imprints, as well as Gamma’s entire 50,000-scene catalog.
