LOS ANGELES — Cherie DeVille enjoys a starring role in “Unfolding” from writer-director Kay Brandt and Adam & Eve Pictures, now in wholesale/retail release.

Abella Danger and India Summer fill out the cast; male talent includes Seth Gamble, Small Hands and Codey Steele.
Brandt adapted her script from the bestselling novel of the same name by Serena Kitt. In the film, “Charlie (DeVille) is happily married to Jack (Gamble), but they both crave something more. When Jack surprises Charlie with a romantic vacation, she can't wait to spend some alone time with her husband. Charlie soon discovers the resort caters to couples that are ready to sexually explore with other couples, and is the catalyst for Charlie's sexual awakening. Cherie is featured in nearly every scene, and gives a strong performance in each one,” reads the promotional text.

DeVille was Brandt’s first choice for the lead role. “I kept seeing her face when I was writing the screenplay and I was thrilled when she agreed to do it,” the filmmaker said. “Before the camera even rolled, Cherie had read the book and the screenplay, and listened to the audiobook version, too, which helped her completely immerse herself in bringing Charlie to life."
