7 Veils, Sssh.com Prolong the Pleasure of #SexTalkTuesday

CYBERSPACE — 7 Veils and Sssh.com, the creators of #SexTalkTuesday on Twitter, have expanded the popular online discussion forum to an entire day.

“The weekly Twitter chat, which is normally an hourlong intense sexual discussion, is now extending to be a full-day discussion to allow for even longer and deeper discussions,” a rep said.

“We found that an hour just wasn’t long enough. Our audience wants to continue the conversation long past the allotted time. The new full-day format will give more people a chance to participate and an opportunity for more moderators to join,” said Sssh.com’s Angie Rowntree.

#SexTalkTuesday was launched in 2013, the rep notes, as “a way to bring Twitter users together to discuss sexual topics with sexual community leaders. The weekly chat is dynamic, and has featured a host of sex educators, porn stars and community leaders including Margaret Cho, Nina Hartley, Fleshlight, Cooper Becket and many others. Because there is no such thing as a taboo topic, the Twitter chat has a incredible audience of women, performers, educators and adult and even mainstream brands, that all participate.”

The interactive cybertalk has averaged between two and three million impressions per hour. However, “we want it to be bigger,” said Corina Diaz, director of communications for 7 Veils. “We have had chats that exceeded 25 million impressions in an hour. There is a lot of potential with #SexTalkTuesday and with the new format we expect our impressions to grow significantly.”

Popular topics have included threesomes and female domination. The event is open to anyone who wishes to interact by using the #SexTalkTuesday hashtag or by following the SsshForWomen and SexTalkTuesday Twitter handles.
