Williams Trading Wins XBIZ Award for Retail Education Training Program of the Year

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Williams Trading University was the recipient of the Retail Education/Training Program of the Year at the recent XBIZ Awards.  

WTU is a free e-learning program available exclusively to existing and new Williams Trading Co. accounts.

“We were thrilled to be recognized with the Retail Education XBIZ Award this year, in-store training and support of our customers is our primary focus with our vendors, our vendors have been very supportive in the custom development of this e-learning content,” said Scott D, sales and marketing director at Williams Trading Co.

Williams Trading University offers online courses available 24/7 with a simple login account. Each course offers product benefits and features as well as a seminar that explains its importance to a customer, their needs, and well-being. To date, more than 94,000 course certifications have been completed across the domestic U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Upon completing a course, the user takes a quiz certifying their newfound knowledge and is rewarded with a downloadable certificate. Select participating vendors are offering free premiums, samples and special offers. The feature is an added benefit to the retailer as their employees can try a product, become a consumer and ultimately recommend it to their customers.

Recently Williams Trading, in partnership with selected vendors, has added custom channels of specific training material from System Jo and Pipedream Products. Additionally, Williams Trading University expanded content with the Green Road brand with the introduction of CBD products into the adult channel. Every month, new e-learning content is added to the expanding curriculum of content available for all Williams Trading accounts.
