VENICE, Calif. — Avi Love is celebrating a 2019 XBIZ Awards win as Best Actress — Feature Movie.
She earned the honors for the title role in “The Possession of Mrs. Hyde” via Wicked Pictures, marking “Avi’s graduation from newbie superstar to award-winning actress,” a rep said. “It is the biggest role of her young career and one that’s proven a bust-out performance for Avi.”
The role, “which director Axel Braun has famously said took years to cast, and that he didn’t feel like he could make the movie until he found Avi, turned out to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters and brought loud accolades for Avi, her costar Seth Gamble and Braun.”
The helmer described Love’s performance as “mind-blowing on all levels, and I’ve been doing this for almost 30 years. Her acting is the best I have ever seen, and her sexual energy is unmatched. Her chemistry with Seth was so raw and real that it really brought everything I’ve always wanted to this project,” he said.
Love also snagged two additional XBIZ Awards nominations for her “Mrs. Hyde” scene work.
