VENICE, Calif. — Seth Gamble is trumpeting a pair of 2019 XBIZ Awards wins, including Best Actor.
Gamble additionally snagged Best Supporting Actor honors, “cementing his place as one of the industry’s finest thespians,” a rep said. Gamble won Best Actor — Comedy Release for “Deadpool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody” (Wicked Pictures) and Best Supporting Actor for “The Cursed XXX” (Adam & Eve).
He went into the ceremony with a total of eight nominations.
“I’m really proud to have won these awards,” Gamble said. “I have put a lot of work into my acting for a long time and it’s really important to me and it’s really gratifying that people in the industry would see these performances as among the best of 2018.”
“Deadpool XXX” also took home the trophy as Comedy Release of the Year. Director Axel Braun described the film as “the most important movie of his career and has repeatedly crowed about Seth’s work in that movie, and many others in which he has starred for the director,” the rep said.
