Alina Lopez Crowned Girlsway's 2018 Girl of the Year

MONTREAL — Starlet Alina Lopez has been crowned the Girlsway 2018 Girl of the Year.

The Los Angeles native earned top honors, as voted by Girlsway fans, from a group that included all 2018 Girlsway Girl of the Month contenders: Pipper Perri (Jan.), Brandi Love (Feb.), Eliza Jane (March), Scarlett Sage (April), Chloe Cherry (May), Whitney Wright (June), Mindi Mink (July), Kenzie Reeves (Aug.), Adria Rae (Oct.), Lena Paul (Nov.) and Ivy Wolfe (Dec.). Lopez was Girl of the Month for Sept. 2018.

Sage snagged second-place honors, while Paul placed third.

“Since the first day I've worked for Girlsway I've loved every second of shooting with them,” Lopez said. “I'm so happy to have the honor of being named Girl of the Year for one of my favorite companies. Thank you, Girlsway, and thank you to all my fans that voted for me!"

She will receive a $5000 cash prize and a featured star showcase, in addition to “high-profile promotional opportunities representing the studio and site in its advertising campaigns,” a rep said.

"I am so proud of Alina for being crowned 2018's Girl of the Year,” said  Bree Mills, head of production for Girlsway parent company Gamma Films. “She has been a fantastic ambassador for us this year, and a positive representative of everything that Girlsway stands for. I look forward to seeing her continue to shine this year as the top Girlsway Girl!”

Lopez made her Girlsway debut in April 2018 with “Green Card Mom,” opposite Mercedes Carrera and Christie Stevens, and has anchored 15 vignettes for the label, most recently “The Pick-Up Artist,” costarring Abigail Mac.
