CYBERSPACE — French production label Jacquie & Michel are touting the release of “La Casa de Michel,” under their Elite imprint. The title is also set to air on an adult channel owned by French-language Canal Plus premium television.
“La Casa de Michel,” the label’s 37th title, is an erotic parody of the Spanish drama series, “Money Heist (La Casa de Papel),” now airing on Netflix.
"The (film), its production means and its impact on French media represent a major turning point in the history of the first French adult entertainment group,” a rep said. “Since 2015, its investment in high-budget pornographic movies (has enjoyed) undeniable success from the public and the critics,” particularly from those around the world.
In 2018, Canal Plus “put its trust in Jacquie & Michel Elite to produce a movie to be broadcast in one of its first adult slots of 2019.” This partnership, the rep notes, “reveals the renewed ambitions of Jacquie & Michel in high-budget adult fiction: fun, smart and sexy movies more in tune with their time than ever."
