LOS ANGELES — Following news that Starbucks has blocked customers from accessing erotic content within their coffee shops, YouPorn has updated its company policy banning all Starbucks products at its offices starting Jan. 1.
YouPorn's companywide announcement, issued in a memo by Vice President Charlie Hughes, said, “In light of the news that Starbucks has blocked customers from searching and viewing adult content within their establishments, Starbucks products will officially be banned from the YouPorn offices.”
“See your direct manager for any questions,” Hughes said in closing.
The Starbucks ban comes after the Seattle-based coffee giant announced a plan to install a content filter on the free public Wi-Fi that is available in its stores.
