LOS ANGELES — XR Brands has been nominated for four top awards at the upcoming 2019 XBIZ Exec Awards, scheduled during the XBIZ Show Jan. 14-18 in L.A. These nominations come at a pivotal time as the company expands its brand recognition and strategic partnerships in preparation for strong results in 2019, according to a rep.
CEO and Founder Ari Suss was recognized for Businessman of the Year, a category reserved for entrepreneurs with the ambition and courage to build and lead a thriving business. "Suss has been an industry leader and trailblazer for more than 20 years, and he has led XR Brands to become a leading manufacturer specializing in fetish and BDSM gear," stated a rep.
General Manager Rebecca Weinberg was named for WIA Woman of the Year and Senior Leadership, two categories that recognize the skill and knowhow required not only to lead others but also maintain strong relationships and proactive thinking in an ever-evolving industry.
Account Executive Joanie Lee was nominated for Account Executive of the Year, a category that recognizes the industry’s unsung heroes; those responsible for maintaining strong connections and consistent business opportunities for the companies they represent.
“XR Brands has built a strong foundation on expertise about fetishes and the BDSM lifestyle, and how to equip customers with the information and inventory necessary to continue tapping into this growing market,” Suss said. “I am proud to lead one of the only major manufacturers to have consistently grown and expand year to year while offering consistent industry firsts, most recently with the Strap U Urge remote-control strapless strap-on made of 100 percent silicone.”
