CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Pure Taboo and Pulse Distribution are tub-thumping the wholesale/retail release of “Cheer Practice,” featuring Jill Kassidy and Kristen Scott.
The DVD ships today and features “a double dose of taboo scenes, touching on risky relationships between older men and coeds,” a rep notes, from XBIZ Award-winning writer-producer Bree Mills and director-producer Craven Moorehead.
Kassidy toplines “Cheer Practice” alongside Dick Chibbles; Scott is featured in “The Grade” with Danny Mountain.
“These two very strong episodes are a testament to the range and method acting abilities of these actors," Mills said. "Each played their characters brilliantly and, in true Pure Taboo fashion, with a real mix of rawness and realism. I can't wait for their fans to see these performances!"
“Cheer Practice” finds Tom, a registered sex offender, meeting with his therapist to discuss “behavior management and becoming a positive member of society by avoiding risk factors. But when precocious 18-year-old Kim, who lives next door, decides to stop by and introduce herself, she doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into,” notes a studio rep.
Meanwhile, “The Grade” features “bad-girl student Veronica, (who) finds out where her teacher lives by looking through the school directory; she needs to figure out how to fix things after receiving a bad grade on her term paper, to match her bad attitude. When he doesn’t take her offer of sex to change the grade, she devises an evil plan to get what she wants, whether he likes it or not,” said the rep.
