MONTREAL – Kendra Spade anchors a “dark, new chapter in forbidden erotica” for Pure Taboo, now streaming.
Spade tackles the dramatic role in “Jekyll and Dad,” alongside Dick Chibbles, of a young woman dealing with “the dual personalities of a creepy, controlling stepfather.” Aria Lee costars in a nonsex role.
Mr. Edwards (Chibbles) is “a conservative cop with a sinister side who lives alone with his stepdaughter, Lucy,” a rep notes. “‘If your mother were here, things would be different, but we all know whose fault that is, don't we?’” He tries to convince Lucy’s friend, Emma (Lee) to spend more personal time around the house, but she declines. “When her friend leaves, Mr. Edwards sneers, ‘It’s a shame about Emma; guess it'll be just us two tonight…’”
The scene was produced and co-directed, with Craven Moorehead, by Bree Mills. She described the scenario as “a case study in conservative, nice-seeming people who bring their perversions to the surface in private. Kendra and Dick were perfect in their roles — the dynamic of fear, anger and hatred against the young woman’s acceptance of the situation. They both did an incredible job in conveying all those emotions onscreen.”
