SDB produces 8-10 titles per year, both condom and bareback. SDB currently offers 29 DVD titles, all of which are now available for wholesale purchase through ABV. San Diego Boy Productions DVDs feature 18-24-year-old males including active duty marines and sailors, college students, surfers, Latin boys and "just hot San Diego guys." The next SDB release, "Active Duty Barebackin' Heroes 2," is due later this month.
"He approached me," ABV Managing Partner Rob Ragan told XBIZ. "Bruce is a good guy, and I like him. I have a panel who review anything I may be taking on. They look at lighting, the camera angles, the professionalism of the shoot, if the sex is hot, if people are going to watch. I got a thumbs up from all of them."
"I wanted to focus more time on production, and I was looking for a distributor who is willing to take us to the next level," SDB Owner and Producer Bruce Baker said. "Reviewing the studios Rob and David currently represent, it looked like the San Diego Boy line of DVDs would be a perfect match."
With the San Diego Boy Productions deal, ABV Distribution now represents 11 studios, including D&E Productions, Eon Films, Afton Nills, SinCity Twinks, ClubAmateurUSA, Hammer Entertainment, Erectus, Commando Studios and BluMedia Studios.
