Taormino, who wrote, produced and directed the film, told XBIZ that she compiled a series of techniques that are broken down in each scene and shown slowly and close-up so the viewer won't miss a beat.
"We've developed a structure that's going to be the basic structure throughout [the series], so you can watch scenes with instruction or without," Taormino said.
Taormino said she also included pop-up graphics, which helps the viewer stay focused while watching the steamy scenes.
"One thing that I've found is that some people, when watching a how-to video with narration, can sort of zone out," Taormino said. "[The graphics] bring you back to it, like 'OK, this is what they're doing, and this is the technique that they're demonstrating.'"
Taormino said she chose six performers known for their oral skills — Justine Joli, Ariel X, Kelly Kline, Richard Kline, Jack Lawrence and Cindy Crawford — and had Joli lead the entire cunnilingus workshop.
"I would say that among the women who work with other women in the industry, she is at the top of her game," Taormino said. "She really knows her way around the female body and is so skilled at giving women pleasure."
Joli performs with Ariel X, Richard goes down on Kelly, and Lawrence does his magic on Crawford, Taormino said.
"Jack Lawrence has a reputation in the industry as being the king of eating pussy," Taormino said. "He was the most obvious choice. He really is not just enthusiastic, but amazingly skilled."
Taormino said she's most excited that this title fills a prominent void in the adult industry, a video that not only offers all oral, but all oral performed on a woman.
"The thing that I'm psyched about is it really stays on point," Taormino said. "There's no fucking, and for the most part the entire title revolves around cunnilingus, and that's really unusual in the porn industry."
Taormino said she included a few scenes in which the male performer receives a blowjob, just in case the viewer is dying to see a man come between female orgasms.
When it comes to sex education, Taormino said, it's important to be specific, and with the plethora of blowjob titles out there, she sees a serious need for films that focus on cunnilingus.
"Because [my film] has the option of watching it with or without instruction," Taormino said, "people who are just looking for a video with hot scenes of men going down on women and women going down on women, they can find it here to not just learn, but also enjoy."
