Lawrence Walters Named 1st Amendment Lawyer of Year by Law Organization

LONGWOOD, Fla. — Industry attorney Lawrence Walters was recently named First Amendment Lawyer of the Year by Global Law Experts.

The organization, a global resource for locating legal experts, announces its awards annually.

Walters, the only adult entertainment industry attorney to receive such recognition this year by Global Law Experts, provides legal services focusing on internet law, gaming law, advertising issues and intellectual property, as well as anything to do with the First Amendment.

His law firm, Walters Law Group, concentrates in representing website operators, gaming companies, dating sites, cryptocurrency developers, cam networks, hosts, software developers and related interests.

He often is a speaker on industry panels and has often contributed to XBIZ news stories, including offering perspectives on complex legal issues facing the business and its stakeholders.

In order to select winners, Global Law Experts undertook an extensive nomination and research process, creating a shortlist of firms and practitioners deemed experts within their chosen specialties.

Shortlisted attorneys and firms are then judged on client testimonials and other factors.

Check out Walters’ professional background in the Global Law Experts Awards program here (located on page 32 of the 2018 program).
