WIJCHEN, The Netherlands — European adult wholesale distributor Scala has announced that Marilena Popescu has joined its sales team as new international account manager for Italy, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia.
Popescu will be working remotely, based in Rome, so that she can be closer to her customer accounts, Scala said. She speaks English, French and Italian, and previously worked in sales in various industries, including high fashion and lingerie.
Scala also noted that she spent four years in religious studies at Vatican City, “making her move to Scala and its (slightly naughty) industry even more exciting.”
