NEW YORK — “Shameless Sex,” a sex-positive podcast hosted by April Lampert and Amy Baldwin, will be recording a live show at Sex Expo NY.
Presented by premier cam network Chaturbate, the two-day event is set for the weekend of Sept. 22-23 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. Sex Expo will feature showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers and sex-ed workshops hosted by a wide array of educators and sexual wellness experts.
“‘Shameless Sex’ is thrilled to be participating in Sex Expo this year, as it’s our first experience with such an event and we are so excited to be able to meet existing listeners and introduce the podcast to new ones,” Lampert said. “We will be recording a live show as well and involving the audience if they want to be on the air with us. Both (of us) will be present and will be in the booth chatting with attendees, handing out info about the show and answering sex questions. We’re really looking forward to the Brooklyn location, as it seems like the perfect spot for such a dynamic and versatile event.”
Lampert and Baldwin both work in the pleasure products industry. Lampert serves as global head of sales for Hot Octopuss, while Baldwin is a sales trainer for Uberlube and co-owner of Santa Cruz, Calif.-based adult boutique Pure Pleasure Shop.
Baldwin, along with her mother, Janis Baldwin, opened Pure Pleasure Shop in 2008. In addition to having a brick-and-mortar store in Santa Cruz, Pure Pleasure Shop operates the e-commerce site PurePleasureShop.com.
The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
