Page Six Hints Kanye West May Have Pornhub Awards Role

NEW YORK — The New York Post’s Page Six reported that a source says that Pornhub has been “lusting” after Kanye West and has been in talks to serve as creative director of the Pornhub Awards, which is slated for Thursday in downtown Los Angeles.

“There are some insane negotiations going on” for West to be creative director of the show, the source said.

The sole-source article said that there’s more to West just loving Pornhub for entertainment, and that there could be tie-in in an award category.

“There is a … mainstream ‘celebrity of the year’ category that includes West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, as a nominee, plus his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner,” the Page Six story said.

Last month, West professed his love for Pornhub, as well as Greg Lansky’s Blacked.com brand, on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

West was asked on the show if becoming a father to girls had changed his views on women, he replied: "Nah, I still look at Pornhub. Blacked is my favourite category. What's the point of being Kanye West if you can't break down the porn categories. A lot of black on white, obviously."

Thursday’s Pornhub Awards, to be hosted by brand ambassador Asa Akira, will take place at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The program has about 60 categories, including Instagrammer of the Year, Hottest Male Ass, Best Premium Snapchat and Best Cumshot, among numerous others. (Check out the nominees for the 2018 Pornhub Awards here.)

The ceremony also will be broadcast on Pornhub.com in HD and virtual reality, with HoloFilm Productions assisting on streaming it live. Viewers also will be able to interact with others virtually attending the event through HoloFilm's Oasis virtual world, available for download here.

The event’s organizer could not confirm or deny the Page Six story to XBIZ.
