LAS VEGAS — An outpouring of sympathy was made on social media by fans, friends and family of longtime trans adult performer Carmen Moore, who has passed away.
Moore, who also was known as Kymberly Yazzie, started in the biz as a newbie in late 2010. Two years later, she had her own showcase release for Shemale Club, "Transsexual Superstars: Carmen Moore."
In the midst of trans porn stardom, Moore was involved in a Sundance Channel mainstream movie called “Drunktown’s Finest.”
Moore played the role of Felixia, a real-life transgender Navajo woman, and was reported saying that just about everything that Felixia experiences in the film is something that she’s gone through in her life.
The mainstream film deals with real issues that the LGBTQ community faces on a daily basis, but from the unique perspective of a Native American trans woman.
Moore shot numerous adult movies for some of the top studios, including Grooby, Reality Junkies, Trans 500, Devils Film, T-Girl Network and Venus Lux Entertainment, among others.
The cause of Moore’s passing was not disclosed at post time.
Adult trans star Mia Isabella, a close friend of Moore's, told XBIZ how much she enjoyed the gregarious Moore and that she will be missed.
Isabella said: “We were a tribe of sisters in my young years living in Las Vegas — she and I, TS Foxxy, TS Jessica Fox, her sister Samantha and her cousin former performer Jamie Paige. She's someone I travelled the world with, shot with and also an SMC Productions contract girl and alum. She worked hard and loved the love the industry and the friends she made in it gave her.”
"In the end her favorite quote she'd probably say is, 'Bitch they better chill!’ A force, a firecracker and a light that will be missed,” she said.
Isabella noted that her blood sister issued a statement regarding Moore’s passing. In the statement, the sister said: “The heartbreak and sadness you feel when losing a sister and best friend all at once seemed impossible. You have touched so many lives and brought light into many dark places. I love you and I know one day I will see you again, my angel. RIP. I will always take comfort in knowing that you’ll forever be young and beautiful watching over us.”
The sister asked fans, friends and family who know Moore to donate to the “Kymberly Memorial” fund at any Wells Fargo Bank (account No. 3378291532).
In reaction to the news of Moore's passing, Isabella earlier said on Twitter: “Learned last night of the tragic loss of one of my trans sisters.”
