Jessica Drake, Team Wicked Raise $100K for AIDS Walk

LOS ANGELES — Led by contract star Jessica Drake, Wicked Pictures has raised $106,735 for AIDS Walk Los Angeles since 2012. Drake will again lead her Team Wicked on this year’s walkathon for APLA Health.

A rep said the Team Wicked group, “comprised of adult stars, sex workers and advocates, will return this year” at 10 a.m. on Oct. 21 at Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles.

Drake said the amount of money raised is “mind-blowing” and that leading Team Wicked on the AIDS Walk has become one of her passions.

“HIV and AIDS research is a cause close to my heart. Doing this walk as a team not only raises money, it raises awareness. Also, the AIDS Walk happens on or near my birthday each year, so it’s my favorite way to celebrate.”

“It wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support and teamwork of so many people on Team Wicked throughout the years,” she said. “I am grateful for each and every one of them, and invite everyone to join us this year.”

“I am very proud of Jessica, Team Wicked and the supporters for their longstanding commitment and dedication to this great cause,” said Steve Orenstein, owner of Wicked Pictures.

Social media outreach is being coordinated around the hashtag #TEAMWICKED. Follow Wicked’s Twitter handle here and find Drake on Twitter here.
