NEW YORK — Doc Johnson will be returning to Sex Expo New York this year as a diamond sponsor and showcasing an assortment of its latest pleasure products.
Presented by premier cam network Chaturbate, Sex Expo New York 2018 will be held the weekend of Sept. 22-23 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. The two-day event will feature showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers and sex-ed workshops hosted by a wide variety of educators and sexual wellness experts.
“We are excited and eager to once again participate in this year's Sex Expo,” said Scott Watkins, vice president of sales and marketing for Doc Johnson. “Sex Expo is an amazing opportunity for Doc Johnson to connect with a consumer base interested in exploring ways to promote pleasure and sexual wellness. We look forward to meeting attendees to showcase our latest and greatest products and discuss how they can enhance intimate experiences.”
2018 marks Doc Johnson’s 42nd anniversary. Founded in 1976, the North Hollywood, Calif.-based manufacturer is one of the most enduring companies in the pleasure products market.
Doc Johnson has grown, expanded and evolved during its 42-year history, and Doc Johnson’s 2018 catalog ranges from vibrators, cock rings and dildos to lubricants, anal toys and a wealth of BDSM products — including blindfolds, restraints, whips, ballgags, leather hoods, paddles and nipple clamps.
“The Sex Expo has been a great forum for introducing our products to multiple audiences at the same time: the media, social influencers and end consumers,” said Erica Braverman, director of consumer marketing and communications for Doc Johnson. “The event’s focus on creating opportunities for us to generate content and social media activity is an added bonus. The Sex Expo team clearly has an understanding of the key challenges brands are facing today and have designed an event that helps us meet them.”
The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
